The staff for my recent breast surgery were exceptional. Nothing was a bother and the health team carrying out my operation where also exceptional. So many negatives of NHS but my experience was not negative in least.My hat off to these people and a million thanks xxx
Our appointment time in second appointment letter was changed from Monklands to Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride and we didn't notice. Turned up at Monklands 15 minutes before appointment and reception staff noticed our mistake. But then checked with X-Ray department and they agreed to fit us in without any fuss. Also, notified Hairmyres of our mistake, missing their appointment. Unbelievable, no fuss and friendly service: thank you
Ive been in the A&E department from 12ish to 4ish today and i couldnt have been treated better. The nurses were amazing as was the doctor. Paramedics too. Thank you so much for all your help today.
attended because I couldn't put any weight on my ankle had iced and taken pain killers at home because of this I wasn't triaged in order of arrival and was left while other people were attended to when I raised this with a member of staff I was told I would just have to wait , that is fine if this is the way everybody is treated but I was in considerable pain and there was no consideration of this but because I wasn't making an issue of it I was left , I appreciate that the staff are busy but it would certainly seem that any attempt to treat yourself puts you to the back of the queue . and the tone of the nurse was really rude and when I asked him to go away as he wasn't doing anything for me he said that was fine and he would note my rudeness on my file this was said as a threat at no time did i raise my voice i merely adked him to go away and the irony was it was his attitude that caused my reaction .I have always been a defender of this hospital and appreciate the pressure that the staff are under but this nurse's attitude was not what I expect of the NHS
had to stay a few nights in Monklands hospital and all i can say is the staff were fantastic. They were very helpful and every shift which included nurse's,doctors and domestic staff were brilliant and got me on the mend in no time. So thank you all very much.
