Was last yr when my daughters little Yorkie had to be put to sleep, found the whole experience very stressful, as when Penny had to have the injection she wasn't given a local anesthetic first was very painful for her, after 3 attempts the vet got the vein & she passed away. But not easily with dignity that we expected.
